With rising COVID-19 numbers in the school district and community, Deweyville ISD is the
latest area school district to cancel classes for the remainder of the week. Classes will resume
on Tuesday, September 7th.Monday is already a scheduled holiday for Labor Day. Other
area districts closed until Tuesday include Lumberton, Kirbyville, Newton, and Burkeville.
