Port Arthur police are investigating a deadly shooting. Police were called to the 100 block of 6th
Street yesterday morning in reference to a shooting. Once on the scene, they found the body of
Normand Keenan Jalah, of Port Arthur. The alleged shooter, Sherrell Keys of Port Arthur,
remained on the scene and cooperated with police. She was taken to the police station where
she was questioned and released pending further investigation.
