A murder trial is underway in Jefferson County. Kelli Sartin is accused of the September 2019
beating death of her father, 81-year old Charles Sartin, at his Sabine Pass home. Kelli Sartin
initially claimed her father committed suicide. She later admitted she beat him to death with
a rolling pin and spatula. Charles Sartin was a longtime seafood restaurant owner in Southeast
Texas.
