Man Flees Following Pursuit, Drugs, A Gun, And Money Counter Found

At last report Vidor police were looking for a man that fled on foot into a wooded area during a

traffic stop Tuesday morning. When police attempted to stop the vehicle on I-10. Near FM 1132

the driver attempted to exit off the interstate and two tires of the car were flattened. The driver

stopped the vehicle and ran into a wooded area. He is a black male, wearing blue jeans, a white

T-shirt, and a red cap. A stolen loaded 40 caliber Ruger pistol was found in the front seat. 26

pounds of marijuana and a money counter were found in the trunk. The value of the marijuana

is $50,000. The vehicle the driver was in is from Pineville, Louisiana.
