A man set to go on trial for shooting his ex-girlfriend in the hand and then kidnapping their
7-month old daughter entered a guilty plea yesterday moments before his trial was set to
begin at the Jefferson County Courthouse. 27-year old Nathan Roberts will be sentenced in
December for the incident that occurred in June of last year in Port Arthur. Roberts remains
jailed under a $400,000 bond.
