Police in Orange are investigating a case in which a man attempting to sell a firearm was
robbed. The victim set up the sale through social media. He met the potential buyer in the 1200
block of Eighth Street Monday night. The suspect pulled a handgun on the seller and took
the AR-15 rifle. Police ask citizens attempting to sell items through social media to meet in a
well lit, public area.
