Decriminalizing marijuana will be on the ballot in Austin this May. Ground Game Texas announced the City Clerk's office has qualified a ballot measure that would decriminalize low-level offenses and also end no-knock warrants in Austin. The organization needed 20-thousand signatures to get the item on the ballot, but turned in more than 30-thousand at the start of December. Ground Game Texas says the initiative is aimed at "redirecting resources towards real public safety solutions."
