The city of Beaumont is reporting its first confirmed case of the COVID-19 Omicron virus. The
result came from a 74-year old man. As for positive COVID-19 cases, the Beaumont Public
Health Department reports 257 positive cases fromyesterday and 276 in the Beaumont
Jurisdiction. There were two deaths reported. A 57-year old man and a 57-year old female, both
with underlying health issues.
