The search continues for an inmate that escaped from a work detail in Jasper County. 46-
year od Channon Michael Perkins escaped this morning at Highway 63 and Tennessee Gas
Company in Jasper. He was last seen wearing a black and white striped trustee uniform with
black boots. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 and not approach him. He escaped
around 9:00 this morning.
