A 65-year old Beaumont man is jailed on a charge of aggravated kidnapping. Robert Cardinale
is accused of threatening a woman and her two children with a knife and Parkdale Mall forcing
them to leave with him. Beaumont police quickly responded to the mall and located Cardinale
and the victims in the parking lot where Cardinale was arrested. The victims had never seen
Cardinale before the incident.
