The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man that robbed the Love’s Truck Stop on
Smith Road. The suspect told the clerk he had a weapon and that there was going to be a killing.
The robber demanded money from the clerk. He fled the store to a waiting vehicle. The clerk
was not hurt. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Southeast Texas
