Port Neches Chief of Police Paul Lamonie tells us that a suspect was shot and killed by officers
this morning. The officers were serving warrants. The suspect was armed with a gun and was
shot during a confrontation. He was dead at the scene. No officers were hurt. The Texas Rangers
and the DPS are heading up the investigation.
