One suspect is jailed for attempted capital murder and the search for a second suspect
continues. Beaumont police went to the Glen Oaks Apartment on Dowlen Road Sunday
evening. Guns were pointed at the officers and one of the suspects attempted to shoot the
officers, however the gun malfunctioned. 17-year old Jalon Nixon, of Beaumont is charged
with two counts of attempted capital murder. Police are searching for 18-year old Reginald
Guillory, of Beaumont.Anyone with information on Guillory is asked to contact Beaumont
