Last week, Beaumont Animal Care officers served a warrant at a home in the 5500 block of
Shivers Street to gain custody of five dogs and six cats from inside the property. The seizure
follows an investigation that determined it was in the best interest to remove the animals from
the property. A civil seizure hearing will be held this coming Thursday.
