Busy Week For Grand Jury

Two Beaumont teens have been indicted for attempting to shoot two Beaumont police officers.

19-year old Jalon Nixon and 18-year old Reginald Guillory are charged with two counts of

aggravated assault on a peace officer. The officers went to the Glen Oaks Apartments on

Dowlen Road on July 3rd. A gun pointed at the officers malfunctioned. Nixon was arrested

at the scene. Guillory jumped out a window and fled on foot. He later turned himself in.

The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont man for aggravated kidnapping. 65-

year old Robert Anthony Cardinale is accused of forcing a woman and her two sons from 

Parkdale Mall at knifepoint on June 12th. Police quickly responded to the scene and arrested

Cardinale in the parking lot of the mall.

A man has been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury on three counts of aggravated

robbery. 20-year old Mikale Rashad Bolton is accused of robbing a man outside the French

Road Apartments on June 25th. He is also charged with robbing individuals. On June 28th,

Bolton is accused of robbing a man at the ATM at Community Bank on Delaware Street and

a woman at the ATM at the Beaumont Education Credit Union on Laurel Street.
