Gas prices continue to drop. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area this morning
is $3.85 a gallon, which is down 14 cents from last week. This area is reporting the 3rd highest
average in the state, only behind College Station and Midland. The statewide average dropped 16
cents to $3.76 a gallon. The national average is down 16 cents to $4.25. These averages are
from Triple A Texas.
