Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke is continuing his 49-day "Drive for Texas"
tour ahead of this year's election. Yesterday he appeared in Port Arthur and Houston. Saturday
night he was in Beaumont. After taking today off, the tour moves on to Galveston tomorrow.
O'Rourke is emphasizing gun control, abortion, and education as he tours 65 Texas cities in his
challenge to incumbent Republican Gov. Greg Abbott. The former congressman has also run
failed campaigns for the U.S. Senate and the White House.
