A man is jailed charged with DWI after striking a Beaumont police unit. The police unit was at
the stoplight at 11th and Hollywood last night when it was struck from behind forcing the police
unit into a vehicle in from of them at the light. The driver of the vehicle that initiated the contact,
Francisco Xante-Lobos was transported to jail for DWI. There were no serious injuries reported.
