Gas prices continue to drop. The average price in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area is down 13
cents from last week to $3.56 a gallon. This area has one of the highest averages in the state.
A year ago we were paying $2.82 a gallon. The statewide average dropped 14 cents to $3.48 a
gallon. This morning’s national average has dipped und $4.00 a gallon to $3.97, which is down
14 cents from last week. These averages are from Triple A Texas.
