On June 22nd, Beaumont police responded to a six-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Dowlen
Road and Gladys Avenue. A total of six people were hospitalized. Investigators have forwarded
their report to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office along with a recommended charge
intoxication assault. The D.A’s office is expected to make a decision by next week on whether or
not to file charges.
