Uvalde schools police chief Pete Arredondo is being fired. Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District trustees decided to make the move following a meeting on Wednesday. Arredondo has been blamed for not behaving like an incident commander during the May shooting at Robb Elementary despite the fact that scores of heavily armed law enforcement officers were on scene.Nineteen students and two teachers lost their lives.
