A second suspect in the torturing and killing of a cat is in custody. 23-year old Decorius Mire
was arrested yesterday in Port Arthur. Mire and 28-year old Donaldvan Williams, both of
Beaumont, were indicted by a federal grand jury last week for beating a cat to death at setting it
on fire. The October 2021 act was caught on video. Williams was arrested last week.
