A man on trial in Jefferson County for sexual assault of a child fled to Mexico as the jury was
deliberating his fate. Dadiel Albeo, who was out on bond, did not return to the courthouse
yesterday. Judge John Stevens had the jury continue deliberations and they returned
with a verdict of guilty. Video footage shows Albeo crossing the border in Laredo early
yesterday morning.
