The DPS has identified a woman Tuesday afternoon’s fatality victim in Hardin County. 48-year
old Martha Suarez, of Kountze, was heading south on FM 326, near FM 421, when a northbound
pickup crossed into her lane of traffic striking her vehicle head-on. She was pronounced dead at
the scene. The driver of the pickup, 45-year old Jennifer Stovall, of League City, was transported
to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
