Beaumont police have identified the victim from yesterday’s fatality on I-10 near Laurel Street.
32-year old Jonathan Allen Droddy, of Vidor, died when his car struck part of a concrete
divider that was in his lane of traffic. The driver of a box truck had lost control and struck the
divider knocking the concrete into the oncoming lane. Droddy was pronounced dead at the
scene.
