Two arrests have been made in connection with vandalism at the Little Cypress-Mauriceville
football stadium. Vandals broke into the stadium a defaced the press box and field with spray
paint. Ryan Dee Bergeron and Johnny Davis were taken into custody yesterday. Both are
charged with criminal mischief. One suspect is a student at LCM, the other is a former LCM
student attending Nederland High School. It is believed, by the color of paint used, the act was
to stoke tensions and rivalry between LCM and Lumberton, who play tomorrow night.
