No injuries were reported from a weekend house fire in Newton. The Saturday afternoon fire was
in the 1000 block of Davison Street. The home was a total loss. No word on the cause. Newton
firefighters were assist by at the scene by firefighters from the Trout Creek and Bon Wier
Volunteer Fire Departments.
