The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man that died while
exchanging gunfire with deputies yesterday morning. Deputies pulled over a motorcycle
for going the wrong way on Highway 90 in China. The motorcyclist, 33-year old Brandon
Wilder from Indiana, stopped and fired shots at deputies who returned fire. Wilder turned
the gun on himself and took his own life. Wilder had felony warrants here in Texas.
