A Vote To Elminate Flouride From Water Will Not Make It To Ballot

The Beaumont city council addressed fluoride in the city’s drinking water yesterday. Ward 2

Councilman Mike Getz made a motion to place a referendum on the May ballot to have the

city stop injecting fluoride into the city’s drinking water. The motion did not get a second, so

it will not appear on the May ballot. Councilman Getz says citizens have told him they are

concerned fluoride could impact their health.
