Fire At Jasper Motel

One person was injured during a fire at a Jasper motel. Saturday morning’s fire was at the

Roadway Inn, located at the intersection of Highways 96 and 190. The fire was contained to

one room at the motel. Adjoining rooms sustained smoke damage. The early investigation

reveals there may have been an altercation in the room prior to the fire.
