Beaumont police report a man was mauled by two pitbulls near Sprott Park in south Beaumont.
When police arrived, the 57-year old man was on the ground getting attacked. One of the dogs
charged an officer who was forced to shoot and kill the dog. The other pitbull ran off. The
victim was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.
