A Port Arthur woman appeared in a Jefferson County courtroom yesterday and received three 20-year
prison sentences for injury to a child. Krystal Nicole Kirbow had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges.
As part of the plea deal three charges were dropped. She was arrested in October of 2020 after children,
ages seven, six, and four, were found with injuries to their bodies and face during a welfare check. The
sentences will run concurrently. A co-defendant, Dylan Wiggins is serving 10 years.
