Two are dead following a shooting in Beaumont. A group of men forced their way into a house in
the 1800 block of Elgie around 2:15 this morning. Several people were inside the home. There was
an exchange of gunfire. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, and second gunshot victim was
transported to the hospital where he died. The suspects fled the scene. Police are interviewing witnesses
as the investigation continues.
