A Beaumont man that turned down a 30 year prison sentence as part of a plea agreement has
been sentenced to life in prison by a Jefferson County jury. The same jury that convicted 29-year old
Eandre Juwon Mott sentenced him for continuous sexual abuse of a child. Mott also received a
20 year sentence for sexual assault of a child. Mott represented himself in the trial that started
Tuesday afternoon in Judge Raquel West’s courtroom.
