Beaumont police are investigating a shooting. The 24-year old victim arrived at Beaumont Emergency
Care by private vehicle last night with a gunshot wound to his body. He was transported to Christus
St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment for what is being called a non-life threatening wound. The shooting
may have stemmed from an earlier altercation in the 1000 block of Pinchback.
