Two men from Orange have been indicted by the Jefferson County grand jury for murder. 18-year old
Jaren Battels and 18-year old Armani Rashad Wallace and charged with the March 18th shooting death of
30-year old Geraldo Escamilla, a passenger in a car, outside the D’Mony Daiquiri Lounge on Phelan Blvd
in Beaumont. Both men have also been indicted for aggravated assault for shooting and wounding the
driver of the car, 35-year old Armondo Camargi.
