A fire in Jasper County has claimed two lives. Firefighters from the Rayburn Fire Department were called
to the home in the 600 block of Players Place at Rayburn Country Saturday morning. The bodies 73-year
old Evelyn Simmons and her son, 56-year old Corey Chetham were found in the home. Investigators are
trying to determine the cause of the fire.
