BISD’s football stadium has a new name. Last night, board members renamed the stadium on I-10
Dogget Toyota, Ford, John Deere Stadium. The vote was 6-1. The school district is getting $1.1 million
over the next 10 years for the naming rights. The stadium was initially named after former
superintendent Dr. Carroll “Butch” Thomas and was changed to Memorial Stadium.
