A man that attempted to rob a Beaumont credit union is jailed. Police were called to the Du Good
Federal Credit Union in the 7500 block of Eastex Freeway just before 10:30 this morning. The suspect
handed the clerk a note demanding money. Police were able to arrest the suspect at the credit union
without incident. He did not have a weapon.
