Beaumont police are investigating a shooting death of a 17-year-old male. It occurred Sunday morning at the West End Crossing Apartments on Dowlen and Phelan.A suspect is in custody. Beaumont police say two men were arguing and one man fired shots at the other man. The victim was in a car that struck a fence in the parking lot. The victim, a 17-year-old male, was dead at the scene in his car. A suspect is in custody. Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has ordered an autopsy.
