The DPS reports a wreck in Orange County around 2:30 this morning has claimed a life. The driver of
a pickup struck a concrete barrier near the 877 mile maker and flipped over. The pickup was struck by
an 18-wheeler. The driver of the pickup, 47-year old Ernest Fountain of Orange, was pronounced dead at
the scene. The driver of the 18- wheeler was not hurt.
