Beaumont police are investigating a homicide. The deadly shooting occurred around 4:15 yesterday
morning outside the Crystal Grocery Shell station on Concord Road. The victim was pronounced dead
at the scene. A second shooting victim was transported to the hospital. The suspect, 33-year old Jeremy
Dixon, of Beaumont, was found hiding near the murder scene. He is jailed under bonds totaling more
than $1 million.
