Governor Greg Abbott has announced a record $142 billion for transportation infrastructure across the
state. This includes $2 billion in the Beaumont district, which includes $831 million for the Highway
69 corridor through Hardin, Tyler, and Jasper County, $207 million for projects along I-10 and Highway 69
in Beaumont, $145 million for widening projects in Liberty County, and $3 million for new sidewalks and
ramps throughout the district.
