A murder trial underway in Jefferson County ended when the defendant pleaded guilty. Jacorry Green
entered the plea for the July 2021 shooting death of 29-year old Tyler Womack in the 4300 block of
Woodlawn in Beaumont. Green will be sentenced to 20 years in prison on a later date. On a related note,
another arrest has been made in the murder of Womack. 27-year old Terry Jerome Booker was taken
into custody yesterday. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.
