Al “Jaimie” Price Jr. has announced he will run for State Representative in District 22, which includes the
majority of Jefferson County, including parts of Beaumont, Port Arthur, Port Neches, Nederland, Groves,
and Fannett. Price is the son of the late longtime State Representative Al Price Sr. He will run as a
Democrat in the March 2024 primary. The seat is currently held by State Representative Christian
Manuel, of Beaumont.
