A robbery suspect is jailed. He is accused of robbing the Quick Stop in the 2000 block of 11th Street in
Beaumont just past 11:00 last night. The clerk sounded the panic alarm. The suspect was found hiding
behind the store when police arrived. He was in possession with the amount of money stolen during the
robbery and transported to jail where he was charged with aggravated robbery.
