(San Marcos, TX)-- Texas State University in San Marcos will host the first of four scheduled Presidential Debates next year. This will be the first time such a debate will be held at a Texas school. The debate is set for September 16th. Texas State University lays claim as the only Texas university with an alum who became President. Lyndon Baines Johnson graduated from that school in 1930 with a bachelor of science degree in history.
