A woman is jailed following a chase that started in Lumberton, came into Beaumont, and returned to
Lumberton. The 19-year old led officers on the pursuit after being accused of forgery at a Lumberton
credit union. Lumberton Chief of Police Danny Sullins was involved in the chase and used his vehicle
to push the suspect’s car off the road to stop the fleeing vehicle. There were no injuries.
