The name of a woman struck and killed by a U.S. Postal truck in Port Arthur Monday night has been
released. 52-year old Laura Vanessa Martinez-Segura, of Port Arthur, was crossing the street in the
4300 block of Proctor. The area is not well lit. She was transported to the Medical Center of Southeast
Texas where she died.
