A Jefferson County jury will return to the courthouse this morning and resume deliberations in the trial
of a man accused in the 2021 death of his girlfriend’s 11 month old daughter. 25-year old Bryce Cesar is
charged with aggravated assault and injury to a child. Prosecutors say Ka’Oir Richard died from a crushed
skull. Cesar faces up to life in prison if he is convicted.
